Der Schlachthof Greater Omaha Packing gehört seit 1920 zu einem der besten Zerlegebetriebe Nordamerikas. Die Angus und Hereford Rinder, die das Unternehmen verarbeitet, stammen ausschließlich von familiengeführten Rinderfarmen aus dem US-Bundesstaat Nebraska, welcher dank des Klimas und hervorragenden Graslands ein bevorzugter Standort für die Rinderzucht ist. Da sich dort auch die größte Maisanbauregion der USA befindet, der sogenannte Cornbelt, werden die Tiere auch nur mit bestem Mais gefüttert. Aufgrund der Zufütterung mit Maiskörnern bildet das Rindfleisch eine ausgeprägte Marmorierung, die dem Beef einen besonderen Geschmack verleiht.
